Clean, very good cuts, no waiting
If I could give this zero stars, I would. Worst haircut I have ever had. I have long hair and went in for a trim. I told the lady I wanted one inch off just enough to take off some of the split ends. She didn't listen to me and took off 3 inches. I even said how much did you just cut off and she said "two inches" then the other stylist said they call her (insert name here) Scissorhands. Then she combed my hair for about ten minutes with a comb that only tangled my hair even more. When she blow dried my hair, she gave me a middle part and didn't even ask where my part was. Upon leaving I said I feel like I'm bald and all she said was "stop that". I was taken aback by the poor customer service and I hope NO ONE goes here. I went to my normal stylist when I got back to Charlotte and she was even angry with how messed up my hair was. The cut was completely chopped and uneven. I had to get my hair cut EVEN MORE to get it fixed. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They should go out of business.
I called today to see if they take walk-ins or only appts while staying with family on Sunset Beach. The lady I talked to said it was fine to walk-in for a cut and that she was free now for about an hour if I wanted to come asap. I was okay with that, so I drove on over. Upon walking in, the shop is pretty small so you walk right in to the cutting areas. There is a bigger room out back where I assumed the front desk was, but it wasn't, it was an employee area. I wasn't greeted, just glared at upon walking in the door by another employee, a lady with blonde hair, and was asked in a very rude tone 'can I help you' when I started walking to see if there was more to the salon and where to check in. I explained that I talked to someone who said to come on in. The other lady out back said it was her, and came out. She was nice, but rushed, shampooed my hair but left soap all over my forehead and ears. Then proceeded to use a tiny comb through my hair that tangled up my hair even more. Before even finishing combing thru my hair, she started cutting. After a very rushed and what looked to be uneven cut, she said, "I hope you don't want a blow dry (which was supposed to be included in the cut and shampoo) , because it will make my arms tired." I left there with sopping wet, uneven hair. Also, as she was trying to rush me out, I noticed a big piece of uneven hair and asked her to fix it. She snipped a piece off but it still looked uneven. Needless to say that was a terrible experience, where I should have not wasted my time or money. It was shocking to see professionals acting like that to a customer. I will have to get my hair fixed when I go back home. Don't go here. Find another salon.
